Grossé Rhodium Y-Necklace with Blue Pavé

Three graduated domes falling in a Y from a round snake chain. Each dome is split: one half left as a plain mirror surface, the other set with a crescent of pavé crystal running from pale ice blue through to deep sapphire. The stones are graded within each crescent rather than uniform, so the colour deepens as it curves.

Rhodium rather than silver plate, which is why the mirror halves stay bright and don't need polishing the way silver tone does.

Grossé is the German house that produced Christian Dior's costume jewellery under licence from 1955, and continued under its own name afterwards. Pieces signed Grossé alone, like this one, are the house's own work.
