القطعة الفينتج عاشت عقوداً قبل أن تصل إليكِ، وبعناية بسيطة تعيش عقوداً أخرى. هذه عادات سهلة نتبعها نحن مع كل قطعة.
آخر ما تلبسين، وأول ما تخلعين
العطر ومثبت الشعر والكريمات تُبهت الطلاء الذهبي وتُعتم الأحجار مع الوقت. ضعي عطركِ أولاً، انتظري حتى يجف، ثم البسي مجوهراتكِ. وعند العودة إلى البيت اخلعيها أولاً.
بعيداً عن الماء
اخلعي القطعة قبل الاستحمام والسباحة والرياضة وغسل اليدين. الماء والعرق يضعفان الطلاء واللاصق الذي يثبّت بعض الأحجار في القطع القديمة.
كل قطعة في مكانها
احفظي كل قطعة وحدها في كيس ناعم أو علبة مبطنة حتى لا تخدش القطع بعضها. أغلقي القلائد قبل حفظها كي لا تتشابك، وأبعديها عن الشمس المباشرة والرطوبة.
تنظيف لطيف فقط
امسحي القطعة بعد كل لبس بقطعة قماش ناعمة وجافة. تجنبي المنظفات الكيميائية ومعاجين التلميع وأجهزة التنظيف بالموجات فوق الصوتية، فهي قد تزيل الطلاء أو تُرخي الأحجار.
الأقراط الكليب
إن شعرتِ أن الكليب مشدود أو مرتخٍ فلا تضغطي عليه بقوة. الصائغ يستطيع ضبطه في دقائق من دون أن يتضرر.
اللؤلؤ واللؤلؤ الصناعي
اللؤلؤ أكثر حساسية من غيره. امسحيه بقطعة قماش ناعمة بعد اللبس واحفظيه مسطحاً وبعيداً عن العطور.

How to Care for Vintage Jewelry
A vintage piece has already lived for decades before it reaches you. With a little care it will live for decades more. These are the simple habits we follow with every piece.
Last on, first off
Perfume, hairspray and lotions dull gold plating and cloud stones over time. Put your perfume on first, let it dry, then put on your jewelry. When you get home, take it off first.
Keep it away from water
Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising and washing your hands. Water and sweat weaken plating and the glue that holds some stones in older pieces.
One piece, one place
Store each piece on its own in a soft pouch or a lined box so pieces do not scratch each other. Fasten necklaces before you put them away so they do not tangle, and keep them out of direct sunlight and humidity.
Gentle cleaning only
Wipe each piece with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. Avoid chemical cleaners, polishing pastes and ultrasonic machines, which can strip plating or loosen stones.
Clip earrings
If a clip feels too tight or too loose, do not force it. A jeweller can adjust the tension in minutes without damage.
Pearls and faux pearls
Pearls are more delicate than other materials. Wipe them with a soft cloth after wearing, store them flat and keep them away from perfume.
