Vintage Inspired Gold Plated Chandelier Earrings with Amethyst Chips, Turquoise Drops and Pearl-White Bead Accents

A rough bed of amethyst chips, purple and lilac with a few clear points, fills the top of each earring inside a frame of thickly textured gold plate dotted with tiny pearl-white beads. From it hang three chains, each ending in a turquoise drop in its own textured gold frame with a little bead of its own, so the three drops swing against each other as you move.

These are new, not vintage, made in the spirit of the big textured chandelier earrings of the 1960s and 1970s. Purple and turquoise against warm gold is a combination that works on dark hair and on blonde alike. They are a statement pair for dinners and weddings; with the hair up they are the only jewellery you need.

Vintage gold plated copper alloy frames set with amethyst chips and turquoise stones, on sterling silver posts with latch backs, for pierced ears. Height 6.5 cm (2.56 in), width 2.8 cm (1.1 in). Each earring weighs about 22 g, so they have real presence on the ear.
