Vintage 1990s Three-Row Cultured Pearl Collar with Rock Crystal Flower, Sapphires and Diamond, 9ct Gold

Three rows of cultured pearls, 140 in all, knotted into a close collar, with a carved rock crystal flower at the front. Across the frosted petals sits a gold starburst holding six blue sapphires and a diamond at its heart, set in 9ct gold wheel settings. At the back, a 9ct gold sliding clasp joins the three rows.

The pearls are soft cream with a rose light, and the frosted crystal flower keeps the front quiet until the gold rays and the sapphires catch the light. It is a collar for a bare neckline and an evening with no other jewellery.
