Vintage 1960s Gold Tone Mesh Knot Necklace with Cognac Rhinestone Drops

Two ropes of fine gold mesh tied in a single soft knot at the base of the throat, with a cognac-coloured marquise stone set in the heart of the knot and the two tails finished with matching stones in small gold leaf cups. The mesh drapes like fabric, so the knot moves with you.

The warm amber of the stones against the gold is a colour story that suits dark skin and dark fabric equally well: a black abaya, a chocolate knit, a deep green dress. It sits low enough to fill an open neckline, and the extension chain lets you wear it higher or lower.
