Trifari Vintage 1950s Coronet Clear Rhinestone Necklace, Silver Tone
A signed Trifari necklace from 1950, the Coronet design by Alfred Philippe, patent number 160,427 dated 10 October 1950. Clear marquise rhinestones fan out from the centre in a crown of light, with small round rhinestones between them, all set in platinum-toned Trifanium on a slim snake chain.
The piece appeared in a Trifari advertisement of 1950 that promised a regal performance befitting a queen. Seventy-five years on, it still reads that way: cool, bright and quietly formal, the kind of necklace that finishes a plain neckline without any help.
Signed Trifari. Length 15 inches, centrepiece 4 inches wide and 3/4 inch tall. Snake chain with a fold-over clasp. The stones are glue set.
One only. Once it's gone, it's gone.
Care: Store separately in the pouch provided. Avoid perfume and water contact.
