Schiaparelli Vintage Turquoise Blue Cabochon Clip-On Earrings, Gold Tone

A rare vintage pair from Schiaparelli, signed with a patent number. At the heart of each earring sits a domed cabochon in turquoise blue, veined with gold, the kind of stone colour that looks like a shard of sea under sunlight.

Around it, textured gold-tone branches reach outward, each tipped with a round milk glass cabochon. The white dots against the blue give the design a crisp, almost botanical rhythm, bold on the ear without feeling heavy. Original and vintage, a piece for someone who enjoys a little drama in her jewellery.

Condition: Pre-owned vintage. On the lower left branch of the left earring the gold tone has worn away, showing a silver-grey base metal. One prong beside the right earring's cabochon looks dark and silver grey. On both backs the gold tone is worn and darkened around the cabochon frame and on the lower prong cups, and there are dark spots on the exposed cabochon backs. The clip arms have a mottled, slightly hazy surface with fine handling marks. Clip function has not been confirmed, and no measurements are given.
