Phyllis Vintage Signed 12K Gold Filled Clear Crystal Cluster and Folded Leaf Necklace and Screw-Back Earrings Set

A fine curb chain carries four clusters of prong-set clear crystals, square stones in a checkerboard with round stones at the corners, each one cupped by a pair of folded gold leaves. At the centre, a larger lattice of square and round crystals drops between two fans of leaves. The screw-back earrings repeat one cluster and one leaf each.

Mid-century American jewellery at its most wearable: real gold-filled metal with a warm, slightly rosy glow, and stones that read like old-cut diamonds from a distance. It sits close to the collarbone, so it works with a round neckline or an open collar, and the small earrings keep the set from feeling like too much.

Signed 1/20 12K Phyllis on both the necklace and the earrings, the mark of Phyllis Originals by M. and S. Manufacturing Co. of Providence, Rhode Island, a maker active from the mid 1940s to the early 1960s. 12K gold-filled metal with prong-set clear crystals. Necklace 38 cm (15 in) with a spring ring clasp, centre drop 3.3 cm. Earrings 2 cm with screw-back closures, no piercing needed.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with minimal wear.
