Monet Vintage 1980s Signed Ribbed Gold Tone Collar Necklace and Earrings Set with Ivory Panel

A rounded collar of closely ribbed gold tone, the kind that sits like a smooth tube around the neck, with one long glossy ivory panel sweeping across the front. The earrings pick up the same idea: a faceted gold shield with an ivory triangle set into the top.

Monet in the 1980s made sculpture you could wear, and this set is exactly that. There are no stones, only line and polish: the ribbing catches the light along the whole collar, and the ivory panel gives the eye somewhere to rest. It dresses up a plain black top faster than anything with sparkle.

Signed Monet. Gold-tone metal with a smooth ivory-coloured centrepiece on the collar and ivory faces on the earrings. Collar 16 in (about 41 cm). Made in the USA in the 1980s.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition, previously worn and like new.
