Ignazio Cartier Five-Strand Onyx & Mabé Pearl Choker

A bold five-strand choker of polished black onyx beads, gathered into a sterling silver Art Deco centrepiece set with a large 17.6mm mabé pearl. The onyx sits dense and glossy at the throat while the pearl and silver anchor the front, a striking high-contrast statement.

Signed Ignazio Cartier on the clasp, the Italian costume house, in sterling silver (925). From the late 1980s, in excellent vintage condition with only light wear consistent with age.
