Patek Philippe Vintage Ellipse 18K White Gold Diamond Watch

A Patek Philippe Ellipse, reference 3748, from the 1980s with an 18-karat white gold case. The Ellipse shape is derived from the golden ratio, which is why the case is neither round nor rectangular but in a quiet place between the two.

A blue sunburst Sigma dial, with the Sigma mark at six o'clock showing that the hands and hour markers are solid gold. Factory diamond bezel and diamond markers. All components are original, including the crown, dial, movement and case back. Despite its age it wears with a strikingly contemporary character.
