Christian Dior Vintage Purple and Blue Crystal Medallion Pendant Necklace and Pierced Stud Earrings, Gold Plated

Two vintage Christian Dior pieces in gold plate that share one medallion: a double pendant necklace and a pair of pierced stud earrings. The design is the one from a Christian Dior campaign poster of the period, in which the model wears a full collar of these purple and blue roundels. The necklace. Two medallions hang one below the other from a gold-plated rope chain: a round one holding a deep purple crystal, and a larger oval one below it with a dark blue oval crystal. Each stone is bezel set on a frosted gold ground, ringed with gold beads and edged with a twisted rope border. Signed Chr. Dior © on the back of the pendant and on the CD tag at the end of the extension chain. Gold-plated brass with synthetic rhinestones. Pendant 5.7 cm (2.24 in) tall; length 45.5 cm (17.91 in). Made in France in the 1990s.

The earrings. Round studs for pierced ears in the same medallion: a deep purple crystal in a bezel, ringed with gold beads on a frosted gold ground and edged with twisted rope. Signed Chr. Dior © on the back. Gold-plated brass with synthetic rhinestones and 14k gold posts. Dated to the 1980s.

Condition: Good vintage condition on both pieces. Minor wear in keeping with age and no noticeable damage, apart from a small chip at the tip of the purple stone on the necklace and on the earrings.

One necklace and one pair only. Once they're gone, they're gone.
