Christian Dior Vintage Emerald Green Crystal Choker, Silver Tone

A signed Christian Dior choker from the 1980s, in silver tone. Five emerald green crystals line the front, each one ringed in clear rhinestones, so the colour reads deep and the sparkle stays close around it. It sits near the base of the throat and makes even a plain neckline the point of the evening.

The adjustable chain lets it sit snug or fall a little lower. Total length when open 38 cm / 14.96 in, pendant height 5 cm / 1.96 in, weight 12 g. Signed with the Dior stamp on the back.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. There is minor discoloration on the back of the necklace: grey-brown speckled darkening on the backs of the rhinestone settings, and dull, cloudy grey patches on the backs of the oval stone cups. On the front, some clear rhinestones look slightly grey or dull. A small whitish residue sits on the setting next to the first green stone at the chain joint, and the chain looks slightly dull and grey near the clasp.
