Christian Dior Vintage Black Enamel Crystal Necklace and Clip-On Earrings Set

A Christian Dior set from the 1980s, sold together as one: a necklace and a pair of clip-on earrings. Both pieces are in gold tone, with black enamel and sparkling rhinestone crystal. The necklace carries the CD insignia, and the back of each earring is signed Chr.Dior ©.

Glossy black enamel against warm gold is a classic evening pairing, and the clear crystals give it light. The necklace sits close at the base of the throat, and the clip-on earrings frame the face without any piercing.

Necklace about 14-16" long and about 1/4" wide, with a spring clasp. Earrings 7/8" long, with clip-on backs.

Condition: Pre-owned, described by the seller as in excellent condition. The photographs show some wear. Near the clasp, the plating on the necklace chain has patchy, dull brownish mottling, and there are a few dark specks near the ends of the V bar. The left earring has a darkened, worn patch on the lower left of its gold rim and a small dark mark near its base. There are small dark or greenish spots around the hinges of the clip backs, and fine surface marks show on the earring enamel when it catches the light. The small stamp on the side of each earring back cannot be read. Missing stones cannot be fully ruled out from the photographs.
