Christian Dior Vintage 1980s Purple Oval Stone Necklace and Pierced Earrings Set, Gold Plated

An authentic vintage Christian Dior set from 1980s France, signed Chr. Dior © on the back of the earrings and on the CD tag at the end of the extension chain. Each piece holds an oval purple stone framed by a halo of round clear rhinestones, on gold-plated brass with a crisp faceted chain.

Deep purple against gold has a formal, old-world feel. The halo settings catch light from every side, and the slim chain keeps the necklace close to the collarbone, where the stone can do the talking.

Synthetic rhinestones on gold-plated brass. The earrings have 14k gold posts; every other metal part is brass. Necklace length adjustable from about 38 to 44 cm (14.96 to 17.32 in), including a 5 cm (1.97 in) extension chain.

Condition: Pre-owned, graded Good by the seller. General vintage wear throughout, with minor dents, scratches and surface wear. Minor wear to the backing foil on the lower part of the main stone, which shows as a small dark spot when viewed from the front up close. The seller sells as is.
