Carven Paris Vintage Signed Gold Tone Bark Finish Bracelet Watch with Blue and Green Enamel Rectangles

A wide bracelet of gold tone links cut like bark, every panel textured with fine vertical ridges and stepped at the edges, so the whole band reads like a wall of golden timber. Scattered across it are small rectangles of blue and green enamel, and set into one panel is a small round dial that simply reads Carven Paris, with slim baton markers and no numerals.

This is the kind of watch that is a cuff first and a timepiece second. The bark texture is a classic jewellery-watch finish, and here it comes with real weight on the wrist. Wear it alone with a plain sleeve or a bare arm and let it carry the whole look; the blue and green rectangles pick up sapphire and emerald tones in anything else you wear.

Signed CARVEN 467 MODELE DEPOSE on the back of the case. Swiss made, manual winding movement, in working order. Gold tone metal with bark finish and blue and green enamel inlays. Length 17.8 cm (7 in), width 2.5 cm (1 in), weight about 100 g. No box.

Condition: Good vintage condition and working. One blue enamel rectangle has lost a small part of its enamel, and the clasp pieces on the back show surface wear from being worn.
